Hello Everyone!
My name is AnnMarie Zuardo and I’m the Vice President of Recruitment for Alpha Gamma Delta. I am very excited for Recruitment this year, and I know all my sisters are too! We have been working hard all year getting ready for all the lovely ladies that we will be meeting in August. From Round 1 all the way until the Preferential Round there are a million things to do, and it is exciting for our chapter to be able to work together in order to have the best recruitment possible!
For all the girls going through Recruitment this year- my advice for you is: Don’t stress, relax and, most importantly, have fun! Recruitment is a great time to establish contacts and make many new friends. Don’t stress about having to find the perfect dress or the fact that your hair is slightly out of place. Being yourself is by far the best way to make a great, lasting impression on everyone you meet. Make sure you are comfortable, well rested, and ready to meet lots of excited girls throughout the week! Also, don’t forget to bring an umbrella because you never know what the weather in Georgia has in store for us.
I would encourage everyone who is considering going through Recruitment to definitely give it a chance! You will learn many skills that will be beneficial throughout your entire life. And at the end of the week you could end up with 200 amazing new sisters! Recruitment is a week filled with fun songs and delicious food, but most importantly it is a time to learn about the different ways sororities are positively impacting the community around them.
